Think you know your iPhone inside and out? Apple has packed its devices with tons of hidden features and tricks that can make your life easier, but not all of them are obvious. Whether you’re a seasoned iPhone user or just curious about untapped potential, these tips might surprise you and help you get more out of your device.

  1. Back Tap Actions: Enable Back Tap in Settings > Accessibility > Touch to perform actions like taking screenshots by tapping the back of your iPhone.

  2. Hidden Album Security: Hide sensitive photos by adding them to the Hidden album in Photos, and then hide the album itself from view in Settings > Photos.

  3. Quickly Mute Notifications: Swipe left on a notification and select “Options” to quickly mute the app's notifications for an hour or the rest of the day.

  4. Customise Text Sizes per App: Go to Settings > Control Centre and add Text Size, allowing you to adjust text size per app for easier reading.

  5. Shake to Undo: Enable Shake to Undo in Accessibility settings, giving you an easy way to undo text typing mistakes.

  6. Use Measurement App: The Measure app uses augmented reality to measure objects and distances, handy for quick measurements on-the-go.

  7. Create Personal Shortcuts with the Shortcuts App: Automate tasks by creating custom shortcuts for frequently used actions through the Shortcuts app.

  8. Battery Optimisation: Enable Optimised Battery Charging in Settings to extend your battery's lifespan by reducing wear on it.

  9. Spotlight Calculations: Use Spotlight Search for quick calculations or currency conversions without needing to open a separate calculator app.

  10. Silent Dialling: Hold the # symbol when dialling to silence your phone while it’s connecting, perfect for discreetly making calls.
